The founder of Getting Legal has long been involved in the cannabis industry, previously owning a dispensary in Seattle since 2010 before moving to Las Vegas. After his mother, unfortunately, passed away from cancer, he became a vocal advocate for medical cannabis’ potential as a medicine. When he moved to Las Vegas, he saw a need for a friendly, educational and comfortable clinic where licensed doctors could evaluate patients for medical marijuana. In August of 2011, he opened Getting Legal to alleviate the uncertainty of patients procuring their medical marijuana card, and since opening their doors Getting Legal has helped nearly ten thousand patients in Nevada to access medical marijuana.
